This company was started while I was sitting in the stands at a High School
Football game.  I  had spent a couple days looking for Spiritwear for the game,
to no avail.    It was Homecoming Night and while I was people watching I
noticed not many people were wearing school colors or Spiritwear.  I looked
around and saw a Sign as you entered the field that read Welcome to Hornet
Country.  Over the next couple day I made a more exhaustive search around
our town and still could not find any good quality Items at a reasonable price,
So I figured I should just Do it myself.
Now I grew up in the Deep South and then Oklahoma, wearing the colors of
your Hometown team was just way it was done.  Attending a sporting event in
the deep south or at Oklahoma State(Go Pokes!) where I graduated has been
described by some as a religious experience.  The fans can truly be described
as sometimes fanatic, however I like to see them passionate and loyal.

I started my career as a Probation Officer, My husband is also in Law
Enforcement.  We have 1 daughter who attends High School.  As a family we
complete in Rodeos and Cowboy Mounted Shooting.   My daughter competes
in Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, Pole Bending and Barrel Racing.  She has
numerous Titles and Championships.  My husband is a retired Steer Wrestler
who now spends much of his time Cowboy Mounted Shooting.  I am Still
competing in Breakaway Roping as well as coaching High School and Junior
Olympics Volleyball

In 2005,  while in Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo, I of course went
shopping at  Cowboy Christmas at the Convention Center as well as at the
Mandalay Bay.  I searched high and low and could not find any items with
Breakaway Ropers.  All other rodeo events were represented, but no
Breakaway Roping.

So once again I decided to Just Do It Myself.  
That is when BreakawayRopers was born.  

In addition to Spiritwear and Breakaway Roping Apparel, I have been
contracted to do work with State and Local Police agencies, National
Companies and Organizations as well as  various other companies
Nationwide.
